Men’s All Mountain: Elan Ripstick 96
Designed with the help from ski legend Glen Plake, the Ripstick is ready to handle a variety of different conditions. Stiff enough to rail turns on the groomers and playful and light enough to provide float and forgiveness in variable snow conditions. This year’s updated model offers a slightly stiffer tip to provide even more stability on firm conditions. Also available in an 88 width, however the 96 proves to be a slightly more versatile option
Men’s Premium Performance: Stockli Stormrider 88
A ski company doesn’t stay around for 80 years easily, and this year’s Stormrider 88 is a true example of ski craftsmanship. Made in Switzerland, this ski offers two full sheets of metal and a thin layer of rubber to give it an incredibly dampened and smooth ride. The ease of turn initiation paired with grip and stability make this one of our most accessible and confidence inspiring options. They are worth every penny.
Men’s All Mountain Twin: Black Crows Camox
Playful and energetic are two words that come to mind when describing the new Camox. A medium flex and slight tail rocker allow this ski to pivot very easily in tight terrain while still being able to perform on firm snow. Inspired by the variable terrain of Chamonix and shaped by master ski designer Julien Regnier, this is a perfect all mountain ski for someone who appreciates a playful ski that can handle any condition.
Women’s All Mountain System: Elan Wildcat 82c
The Wildcat 82c is a ski for intermediate to advance women looking for an all mountain carving ski that can be friendly in un-groomed conditions as well. The medium-width allows the wildcat to break through crud and carve through a variety of snow conditions. Elan’s amphibio technology is an asymmetrical rocker/camber profile that allows both increased grip and turn initiation and makes this ski both high performing and easy to ski. The perfect frontside ski for not so frontside conditions.
Women’s All Mountain: Elan Ripstick 88w
The same all mountain versatility of the Ripstick, but in a women’s- specific shape and colorway. A ski that is eager to sk everything from groomers, bumps, trees, or untracked powder.
