What’s Included?
Ski packages: skis, bindings, and boots. Snowboard packages: snowboard, bindings, and boots.
Ski poles are available at a discount and are not included in the package price.
About the 5 & Under program: You pay a deposit up front. After equipment is returned, the deposit can be applied to the following season or issued as store credit. It is not a cash refund. Ask our staff how the deposit applies when your child moves into the junior program.
Which Package Should I Choose?
Standard ski packages: a practical option for beginner and intermediate skiers.
Premium ski packages: for skiers who need more performance. Type 3 skiers must choose a premium ski package.
New or used? Choose the price and equipment option that works for your budget. Final selection depends on fit and availability.
Not sure where you fit? Our staff will help you choose at your appointment.
Book a fitting. Appointments are recommended; walk-in wait times can be long during busy periods.
Bring the skier or rider. Final sizing takes place in store. Bring ski or snowboard socks.
Get fitted and pick up your equipment. Our staff will help match your size and needs to an available package.
Enjoy the season. Return your leased equipment by April 15, 2027.
Plan for your appointment: Arrive 5–10 minutes early and allow the full 30 minutes for the fitting. Your appointment time is the start of the fitting, not a 30-minute arrival window. Call ahead if you’re running late.
Important Dates & Availability
Pickup begins: August 15, 2026.
Best selection: schedule your fitting and pick up by October 31, 2026. Inventory changes daily.
Prepaid customers: your prepaid equipment guarantee runs through October 31, 2026. After that date, a price difference may apply if your prepaid package is no longer available.
Return deadline: April 15, 2027.
We cannot determine the sizes you need until the skier or rider is fitted in person. Equipment options depend on size and availability.
Eligible junior lease customers can purchase a Ragged Mountain season pass for $199 for 2026–2027, with no blackout dates.
For children ages 6–12 who will be under 13 on January 1, 2027. Your child must lease alpine ski or snowboard equipment from Zimmermanns and pick it up before the offer can be activated.
Use your lease confirmation to request a discount code from Ragged Mountain Guest Services, or present the confirmation at their Guest Services office. For this offer, equipment returns must be between March 1 and April 15, 2027.
Bring everyone who needs equipment and their ski or snowboard socks. Wool or synthetic ski socks are recommended. Socks are required to try on boots.
Can I pay before I know the equipment sizes?
Yes. Final sizing happens at your in-store fitting. Payment does not determine your equipment sizes.
Does the package include poles?
No. Ski packages include skis, bindings, and boots. Poles are available at a discount.
How does the 5 & Under deposit work?
Pay the listed new or used equipment deposit, use the equipment for the season, and return it. Your deposit can then roll into the following season or be issued as store credit. It is not refunded in cash.
Can I keep the equipment after the season?
Teen and adult ski leases offer an end-of-season purchase option. Ask our staff for the buyout price and details.
What sizes are available?
Junior ski boots: 14.5–26.5. Junior snowboard boots: 10C–7. Junior skis: 70–150 cm. Junior snowboards: 80–145 cm. Adult ski boots: 22.5–32.5. Adult skis: 130–172 cm. Availability varies; contact us about other sizes or adult snowboard equipment.
What about cancellations, damage, or growing out of equipment?
Please contact the shop to discuss your situation and the applicable lease terms before making changes to your package.
