A nationwide effort to help those less fortunate is going on in the world of snow sports. We all know what it’s like to be cold out on the hill, imagine if you had to sleep out in the freezing temperatures. The sock company Lift 23 and Zimmermanns Skis, Boards & More have joined to make the cold days and nights ahead a little bit warmer for some of NH’s youngest citizens. Zimmermanns Skis, Boards & More will donate a pair of warm, winter socks to Child and Family Services of NH, an organization which is dedicated to advancing the well-being of children by promoting community commitment to the needs of children.
The company Lift 23 was started by a family who had been dealt a good hand in life. Passionate skiers, they wanted to open a business that tied into the sport they loved, and at the same time could do something good for those less fortunate. They began giving socks to many the homeless of New York’s children. As of September 2015, there are an amazing 23,000 homeless children in New York City and that is where the name comes from, they wanted to help lift up those 23 thousand. Lift 23.
Zimmermanns is proud to be part of this movement to help those less fortunate. You can too, the Lift 23 socks retail for $24.99 which may seem like a lot, but factor in the good that they are doing, who they’re doing it for, and it doesn’t seem that outrageous. Show your support and get your Lift 23 socks today, and make a difference.
Zimmermanns has invested in this brand heavily, so we have a bunch in stock. Tell your friends and family about this program and together we can do some good. Zimmermanns is open Monday through Friday from 10-8, Saturday-Sunday from 10-6. We look forward to seeing you.
