Hi from Zimmermanns ! Today we have to deliver some good news and some bad news.

First the bad news. After nearly 50 years and three generations of ownership within the same family, Andy’s Ski Shop in Fitchburg Mass is closing their doors forever. Fortunately, they are closing because of some new opportunities that have presented themselves and bow out not owing anyone any money and will leave the industry with their heads held high. We at Zimmermanns wish them both of the owners, Christine and Mark, the very best in their future endeavors.

Now to the good news. As the saying goes, every dark cloud has it’s silver lining. In this case the silver lining is that Zimmermanns was able to help them out and has purchased all of their remaining inventory and machinery and has moved it up to Nashua !

Things in the store were tight before just with all of the new 2015/16 inventory. Now things are literally stuffed in every corner, double hung on every rack and crammed into bins. In short, we don’t have the room and this stuff has simply got to go. There is some incredible finds from some of the best brands in the ski and snowboard business. So that we can move it, and get some breathing space in the store again, we have priced all of this gear to move !  This weekend (weather permitting) it will all be outside under our huge, green, inflatable tent ! (These mega deals will be available inside the store should the winds and rain of Hurricane Joaquin decided to come visit NH).
