Anyone that knew Tom knew just how big a heart he had. Always smiling, even when things weren’t going as well as he would have liked, he tried his best to stay positive and happy. Hearing of his passing was some of the hardest news I had given to me to date.

Tom’s love for skiing was obvious and he enjoyed taking his niece Sadie to Nashoba Valley when ever he could. He promised her that one day, when she was older, he would take her to a “BIG” mountain. Sadly that day would never come.

In an effort to fulfill Tom’s wish and little Sadies dream, Zimmermanns has planned a day of skiing at Ragged Mountain in Tom’s honor. His niece Sadie will be able to go to a “BIG” mountain after all and have her Uncle Tom in her thoughts and in the smiles of everyone who comes out to celebrate with us. Wether you knew him or not we encourage you to join us on Saturday March 16th for a day of fun and memories. Tickets are just $35, and can be purchased the day of the  event.  Naturally there will be an Apres’ Ski party in the lodge.
