We spend a great deal of time out on the hill testing all of the great products we sell. This testing allows us to match the individual with the gear best suited for them. Despite what we know about the different products, we have sadly never had a chance to personally get out on the hill with you. We have done our best to take the information you gave us, and match you up with the best possible solutions. We hope you enjoy your new gear, and if for some reason you don’t, let us know so that we can fix it.
Here are a few important things that you need to know about the gear you have purchased.
-ALL new boards come tuned and waxed from the factory. We feel that after production, and shipping all skis and boards need a top coat of fresh wax in order to give you the best glide possible. The equipment you are leaving with, has been waxed, buffed, and is 100% ready to go. Just add snow !
-New snowboards come with very sharp edges, all the way out to the tip and tail. As a precaution, we de-tune all new boards to help avoid any hooking or edge catching. If this does happen, even after we have done our thing, there may be the need to do more. If you don’t know how to do this yourself, simply bring it by the store and we will take care of it on the spot.
-ALL Zimmermanns snowboard sales include a seasons’ worth of “maintenance”, which includes FREE waxings and edge sharpenings. It does not include the cost of any base repair or stone grinding. Edge and wax can be generally done the same day, within an hour. We will offer while you wait, when time allows. There can often be long wait times depending on when you come in. -Your purchase also includes our Performance Guarantee. We have helped you make a buying decision based on the information you have given us, and the budget you were working with. As mentioned before, we have extensively tested all of the products we sell, but we have never been on the hill with you, which leaves a slight margin for error. If you try the board you bought, for up to 3 days, and it doesn’t perform the way you expected it to do, we will gladly switch it out for another product of equal of greater value. The 3 days do not need to be consecutive, but do need to be within the first season after purchase. Replacement products are limited to what we have in stock, and this offer excludes any special orders. Naturally you are responsible for any difference in price if the product you are switching out for costs more than the one originally bought. Based on your feedback, and what you specifically don’t like about your purchase, we will find a onetime, suitable replacement. We reserve the right to deny this offer to anyone who we feel may have abused the product, or on equipment that we feel has been used more frequently than just the 3 days allowed under this program.
